ACE Radio supports community

SUPPORTIVE: ACE Radio director and co-owner Rowly Paterson confirms his support with Willaura/Lake Bolac Community Bank branch chair Colin McKenzie and manager Neil Hinkley.

ACE Radio has thrown its support behind the Willaura/Lake Bolac Community Bank branch by bringing its entire banking business across to the locally owned branch of Bendigo Bank.
Since 1984, ACE Radio Broadcasters have been at the forefront of regional radio, jointly owned by the Paterson and Handbury families, who are themselves regionally based.
The company has grown over the years to include 13 radio stations, The Weekly Advertiser, Country Directories Australia, ACE Direct Sales, Melbourne Radio School and employs over 160 people.
Director and co-owner of ACE Radio, Rowly Paterson is well know in the district for his passion and support of local community projects.
“I’m looking forward to banking with the Willaura/Lake Bolac Community Bank branch – good service and nice people,” Mr Paterson said.
“And at the back of everyone’s mind should be the thought that the sooner you begin to support your local community bank branch, the sooner your community will begin to share in the profits.
“I urge everyone in the community to jump onboard and become a customer with the Willaura/Lake Bolac Community Bank branch.”
With $40-million in the bank and a profit base continuing to grow, Willaura/Lake Bolac Community Bank branch is continuing to deliver as promised.
For the past four years the people of Willaura and Lake Bolac and district have continued to put their support behind their bank branch and in return, the bank is continuing to put its support behind the community.
Since inception, more than $6000 has been returned to community groups, ensuring that the bank’s success is returned to the community.
“The fact that we are still opening accounts indicates to me that our community and our customers are happy with the achievements of Willaura/Lake-Bolac Community Bank branch,” he said.
