East Grampians Health Service is expecting many past and present doctors, nurses and staff to participate in 150-year celebrations from March 6 to 9. East Grampians Health Services media liason officer Dianne Radford said a three-day program would celebrate the significant milestone. “Much interest will revolve around the reunion dinner for past and current staff on March 6 at Ararat Performing Arts Centre,” she said. “The reuinion dinner will be an opportunity to catch up with many who are returning to Ararat from all over Australia.” The dinner includes a performance by Bendigo Chinese Lions dancers in the Rose Gardens, with Kaledascope to perform a segment ‘down memory lane’. Mrs Radford said all past and present staff at both hospitals were invited to attend the reunuion. “The 150 Year Celebrations committee has endeavoured to locate as many past staff members as possible. However may have missed some, and are relying on the community ‘word and mouth’ to help spread the word,” she said. “If you are a past or a present staff member or doctor and would like to attend the reunion dinner the cost is $40. Registration forms are available from EGHS or visit” For further information contact EGHS on 5352 9318 or email
