Relay returns this weekend

Two teams are hitting the road this weekend for the Murray to Moyne cycle relay in support of Wimmera Health Care Group.
Wimmera Wizards are raising money for Wimmera Base Hospital with their efforts directed towards the purchase of an inflatable lifting and transferring device for patients.
A Horsham Cycling Club team is also participating in the event. It will focus on supporting the Dimboola campus, raising moeny to buy vital life-saving equipment for a proposed triage room.
Wimmera Health Care Group chief executive Chris Scott emphasised the importance of the Murray to Moyne cycle relay for the organisation.
“Every year, both teams do a fantastic job to raise much needed funds for Wimmera Health Care Group,” Mr Scott said.
“I can guarantee that all funds raised will directly benefit patients at both campuses,” he said.
Mr Scott acknowledged the continued generosity of business and community members.
“The ongoing support we receive from our community is fantastic and very much appreciated by our staff and patients alike,” he said.
