GUITAR MAN: Country music artist Rick Bartlett is returning to Horsham next month to perform with rising star Amber Joy Poulton.

Country music artists Rick Bartlett and Amber Joy Poulton will perform at Sunnyside Bowling Club in Horsham on November 13.
Poulton will make her Horsham debut while Bartlett will be returning following his outstanding performance at Horsham RSL in April this year.
Horsham Country Music chairman Lyall Wheaton said Bartlett and Poulton were excellent artists and the organising committee was confident the night would be a sell out.
“The night commences at 7.30pm, doors open at 7pm, and with tickets just $15 we’re urging country music fans to book early,” Mr Wheaton said.
“To reserve seats ring Robyn Xerri on 53821517. Payment is not required with bookings, the money will be collected on the night,” he said.
Adelaide-based Poulton comes from a singing family including Australian favourite Julie Anthony who is her aunt.
Poulton won the 2009 South Australian Country Music Awards Achiever Award and APRA Country Song of the Year. The night before she sings in Horsham Poulton will be supporting country music star Melinda Schneider in Adelaide.
She specialises in ‘Honky Tonk Angels’ and Loretta Lynn tributes.
Geelong-based Bartlett is a class act blending traditional country music with country rock.
His music has been influenced by Chuck Berry, Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings.
Bartlett attended the Country Music Association of Australia’s College of Music in 2006 providing him with expert tuition. He has two albums – Wanted: Outlaws released in 2005 and Acoustic People released in 2009.
