Partnership to improve Wimmera training and health services

Wimmera Health Care Group and Wimmera HUB have joined forces to improve training and health services across the region.
The partnership represents the shared vision of two organisations committed to the wellbeing of the community and to the provision of excellence in health training and workforce development.
The move involves the recruitment and training of students in Certificate III in Aged Care and Certificate III in Home and Community Care.
Wimmera HUB chief executive Mandy Kirsopp said quality training enhanced skills, created an expectation of workforce development and provided more employment opportunities. She said both organisations brought expertise to the partnership.
“Wimmera Health Care Group is known both locally and throughout the region for excellence in health care and Wimmera HUB is a locally owned and operated registered training organisation that has been providing training for our community for the past 38 years.”
