The Hunter games

Former Northern Territory under-19 representative Kirsten Hunter, 19, will make his Wimmera Football League debut for Minyip-Murtoa as the league kicks off its 2012 season on Saturday. Hunter, who has shifted to the Wimmera from Darwin to work as an adolescent health worker with Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Co-operative, will play for the Burras against Ararat at Minyip. The midfielder played for Palmerston Magpies in Darwin and has also played in Geelong League. Wimmera League action fires up, see page 36.
