Judges will announce winners of a Wimmera Legacy Wool Competition tomorrow night after casting a discerning eye over a high-quality field of entries from across the region.
Competition spokesman Bill McGrath, a former wool-classer, said the competition, raising money for Legacy, had attracted 66 ‘outstanding’ entries.
“There is some beautiful wool here. The level of entry really demonstrates how good merino wool can be,” he said.
Mr McGrath said it also reflected the diversity of wool that graziers grew in the region.
