Budding thespians at Dimboola Memorial Secondary College are busy rehearsing their lines for an approaching performance of their production of Just Another High School Play.

Seventeen students from years seven to 12 have made up cast and crew for the show, which will be at the college hall on November 8 and 9.

Performances of Just Another High School Play, produced, directed, acted and promoted by the students under supervision by teachers, will start at 7.30pm.

Assistant director Andrew King said it was exciting to see the play coming together.

“It has been a huge task but we have all managed to collaborate to get the job done,” he said.

Co-directors Hayley Crawley and Hadassah Schembri agreed the cast and crew had been great to work with and the project had been a lot of fun.

“Some of the scenes will be recognisable to all age groups such as, Romeo and Juliet, Little Women, Christmas Carol and a special Our Town, This Town, which shows patriotic appreciation of our town,” they said.
