Kings Cars in Ararat have put a call out across the region to help make this year’s Ararat Emergency Relief Committee’s Toy and Gift Christmas Appeal the best on record.

Kings Cars general manager Michael Smith said he would love to see people from beyond as well as from Ararat district join in the spirit of the appeal.

“Thousands of people from the Pyrenees and southern Grampians right up through the Wimmera-Mallee and to the SA border will read this. Our invitation is there for people, perhaps visiting or travelling through Ararat, as well as local individuals and businesses, to come in and place a gift under our Christmas tree,” he said.

Last year the appeal provided gifts for 146 children up to the age of 14 and Ararat Emergency Relief Committee used $6109.41 to provide 78 families with Christmas hampers.
