I’ll be back!

A juvenile yellow-tailed black cockatoo recuperates under the watchful eye of  wildlife carer Sue Starbuck in Horsham after being rescued from the fire-affected Brimpaen. The vulnerable bird, still feeding from but most likely abandoned by its parents during the fire, was feared to have broken leg or wing. But veterinarian checks cleared it of any major injury. Sue said the majestic bird, which was very friendly and freely accepted food, would soon return to its Grampians home. Picture: SUE STARBUCK
