Lost in the Bush events

The Wimmera celebrated various occasions in the past month as part of 150th anniversary of the Lost in the Bush event, where three children were found after nine days lost in the bush near Nurcoung, west of Natimuk. School students from Natimuk and Edenhope were among many to mark ‘Found Day’ last Wednesday, at the Lost in the Bush Memorial on the Frances-Natimuk Road. Activities such as Aboriginal dancing, bush-broom making, art as well as learning skills that were used to track down the Cooper Duff children were enjoyed by many. Pictures: ANNIE AUSTIN
