Wimmera Gentlemen’s ride for a cause

READY TO RIDE: Classic motorcyclists, from left, Mick Harrison, from Horsham, with Mick Payne and Paul Flaherty, from Natimuk.

A group of Wimmera classic motorcycle enthusiasts will dress in their most dapper attire to take part in a ride to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer.

The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride, from Horsham to Natimuk and return on Sunday, is one of 245 across 56 countries. Riders will gather at the BP service station near the Wimmera River bridge, Horsham, at 11.15am and take a short ride to Main Street Natimuk.

Spokesman Don Perry said the ride was for both ‘distinguished gentlemen and genteel lady folk’.

“A regroup in Main Street Natimuk will follow, then riders will return to the grounds of Glen Logan in Dooen Road Horsham at 12.30pm, which is a perfect backdrop for this event,” he said.
