CEO and agency part ways

Wimmera Uniting Care Board of Governance has appointed Leeanne Thomson as acting chief executive after Ian Hook resigned last week.

Board chairperson Pam Clarke said Mr Hook’s departure was the result of a mutual agreement after he spent six weeks with the community services organisation.

She said the board felt Mr Hook was not the right fit for Wimmera Uniting Care and that it was better to acknowledge that sooner rather than later.
