Nhill centre wins state training award

Nhill Neighbourhood House Learning Centre has won its category in 2015 Victorian Training Awards.
The organisation won Victorian Community Training Provider of the Year during a presentation dinner at The Palladium at Crown in Melbourne.
Training and Skills Minister Steve Herbert congratulated the winners in each of the 14 categories, adding they represented the brightest and the best of Victoria’s vocational education and training sector.
The awards – presented during National Skills Week – showcased innovation and excellence in the TAFE and training system. Winners shared prize money of more than $110,000, and many will have the opportunity to represent Victoria at the 2015 Australian Training Awards in Hobart in November.
