Alistair Clarkson, Matt Rosa eye AFL grand final flag

Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson, 47, is set to continue his record as the Wimmera’s most successful football-coaching export when he leads the Hawks against West Coast Eagles in the AFL grand final this weekend.
Clarkson, who grew up playing for Kaniva in the Tatiara Football League, remains the only Wimmera football personality to have coached an AFL-VFL premiership team. He has achieved the accolade on three occasions, leading the Hawks to premiership glory in 2008, 2013 and last year.
He has also won selection of All-Australian coach during the premiership years and coached an Australian International Rules team in 2014.
