Moyston-Willaura searching for upset against Lismore-Derrinallum

Moyston-Willaura will attempt to gain breathing space on the heels of Mininera and District Football League pace-setters when it takes on Lismore-Derrinallum on Saturday.
The Pumas are sitting fourth, narrowly ahead of the Demons by percentage, and a win against a tough opponent at home would help reset plans after a wake-up call last week.
Moyston-Willaura scored comfortable wins against Caramut and Great Western but ran into ladder-leader Penshurst in its last outing.
A 104-point loss at Penshurst would have put the Pumas back on their heels and sent the team’s coaching brains trust to the drawing board to try to avoid a similar result this weekend.
The team struggled to find goal-kickers, although Josh Day, Lyndon Brewis, Matt Peel and Josh Bywater won accolades for their efforts
Lismore-Derrinallum dispatched Caramut, also with a heavy win. The Demons had eight-goal Ryan Elliot on song against the Swans and Brad Schiltz, Todd Lamont and James Boag all kicking four goals each.
It is hard to see the Pumas standing up to the Demons firepower.
