MDFL| Round 15: Moyston-Willaura in Mininera finals race

Moyston-Willaura opened the race for Mininera and District Football League finals and gave itself plenty of hope in a four-goal victory over Penshurst.
John Vanderwaal kicked five goals, continuing his massive year in front of goal.
Moyston-Willaura will be geared up to continue its good form when it takes on Lismore-Derrinallum in round 15.
Lismore-Derrinallum, sitting fourth, can’t afford to drop a game. The Demons have been in form, scoring a 102-point win over Caramut. Michael Lockyer and Todd Lamont had a day out in front of goals, kicking seven between them and along with the form of Brent Rogers and Andrew Parkinson, were able to keep the Swans scoreless after half time.
Glenthompson-Dunkeld travels to Mininera to take on SMW Rovers who are coming off a loss to Tatyoon.
Glenthompson-Dunkeld is only two games out of the finals and in its last four games plays four of the five bottom teams.
William Macarthur, Lachlan Morganti and Laurie Gordon all did their best in the game, which saw them go into half time only two goals down, but they were unable to hold off the Hawks in the second half.
