The highlight of each ceremony was the presentation of Australia Day awards. Rainbow Lions Club awarded a local citizenship award, Nhill Lions Club awarded a local young citizenship award and Dimboola Town Committee presented an award to a successful community event.
The Australia Day Award winners were chosen from a strong field of nomination from the community, with award winners decided at a December council meeting.
