Horsham Amateur Basketball Association will vie for two titles at a Naracoorte junior tournament at the weekend.
The Horsham Hornets under-16 girls will head to the tournament for their final hit-out in the lead-up to Basketball Country Victoria championships.
The girls have qualified for division three and four championships in three weeks’ time.
The Hornets will contest division one against teams from Naracoorte, Bordertown and Millicent.
Horsham association is also eyeing a division-two title with its under-12 boys team.
Coach Tony Sleep said it would be his charges’ final tournament of the season.
“They have shown terrific improvement for a largely bottom-age team and I am really looking forward to seeing how they go at the weekend in Naracoorte,” he said.
“Many of the team still have next year available in the age group, so this year has definitely been about learning the right skills to play the game.”
The Horsham boys will compete against teams from Mt Gambier, Millicent, Keith, Bordertown, Portland and Mt Gambier.
