Wimmera girls share in premiership glory for Ballarat Grammar

A Ballarat Grammar football team featuring Wimmera talent has won back-to-back Herald Sun Shields with a 23-point win over Melbourne Girls Grammar.

Wimmera girls Jordy Bone, Nhill, Faith McKenzie, Haven, Olivia Jorgensen, Dimboola, Ella Bibby, Warracknabeal, Emma Downes, Donald, Nina Denham and Anna Laursen Habel, Boolite, and Alice Astbury from Tatyoon played in the game.
The match was a curtain raiser to the Collingwood and Adelaide game at the MCG.
Ruck Faith McKenzie starred for Grammar and Ella Bibby was outstanding.
The premiership was Ballarat Grammar’s third in the shield series.
