Horsham district artist Marty Knight pocketed $2500 and will represent Victoria after clinching first prize in the 13th annual Victorian Farm Sculpture Competition.
Knight won with creative entry called ‘The Chase is On’, a three-dimension pictorial artwork depicting a shark chasing a seal.
His work was part of a high-quality list of entries in the competition, which has become an integral part of Wimmera Machinery Field Days at Longerenong near Horsham.

He also won the competition at last year’s Field Days.
Knight’s win has also qualified him entry into a national Farm Sculpture Competition at a Spirit of Land Festival in Lockhart, NSW.
ACE Radio in Horsham, as the Victorian competition’s major sponsor, provided $6000 in prizemoney for the event.
