Water will be the drink of choice for a team of Horsham Priceline Pharmacy employees and owners as they commit to the Dry July campaign.
Chloe McDonald, Giulia Fiorot, Shanice Green, Taylor Clyne, Cobie McQueen and Stuart Hall have chosen to abstain from drinking alcohol for the month to help raise money for people affected by cancer.
Ms McQueen said the group had plenty of reasons to support Dry July.
“We all know someone who has been affected by cancer and Dry July is connected to Priceline through Look Good Feel Great, which is a Priceline Sisterhood supported program,” she said. “We will be working to raise as much money as we possibly can.”
Ms Clyne said the team would have no problems sticking to the rules during the month.
“We’re not big drinkers. For me, it’s a wine with meals and I drink socially on weekends,” she said.
Cooking and selling products to their team members and a variety of raffles are on a list of fundraising ideas.
Ms McQueen said Priceline customers could make donations at the store during July but were under no obligation.
