WIND CATCHER: Transport operators navigate one of the many mighty propeller blades destined for Murra Warra Wind Farm tower through the Wimmera at Dimboola. Construction of the latest renewable energy power station is well underway at the farm on the Kalkee plains between Horsham and Warracknabeal. Each blade shipped from China to Australia measures 70.5 metres and weighs 20 tonnes. Each of the 61 towers involved in the first stage of construction has three blades per turbine. Murra Warra Wind farm is a joint venture between Renewable Energy Systems Australia and Macquarie Capital. Pictures: PAUL CARRACHER
