Horsham basketball star Mitch Creek has bolstered his chances of an NBA call-up with continued strong performances in the NBA G League.
Creek had a breakout performance with a season-high 29 points, helping his Long Island Nets defeat the Erie Bayhawks last week.
He followed it up with 14 points and eight rebounds against Raptors 905 on Sunday.
With NBA teams able to negotiate 10-day contracts between now and the end of the season, Creek’s strong play has come at a good time.
He is averaging 15 points and 5.5 rebounds a game this season, and said he was focused on earning the right to play in the NBA.
“That is the only thing that I think about,” he said.
“I want to have that feeling. Once I have that then I want to turn that into being out there consistently.”
