Bulgana Green Power Hub works on schedule

Work is progressing on Bulgana Green Power Hub near Stawell with the project’s first wind tower up and pre-construction of 11 others expected by the end of the week.
Contractors have erected the first of 56 wind-turbine towers on Landsborough Road at Landsborough.
The power hub, driven by renewable-energy company Neoen, represents a world-first project that combines renewable-energy creation and storage with an industrial-sized Nectar Farms horticultural greenhouse.
Northern Grampians Shire councillor Tony Driscoll said the project had made ‘excellent’ progress
“Combined with the pending planning permit from Nectar Farms, it’s an exciting time for our region as this project is a win-win-win for the community, environment and business,” he said.
The project has created hundreds of jobs and is on schedule to be complete by August this year.
