Mr Rule said it was imperative people drove to conditions and paid extra attention to possible hazards such as water and fallen trees.
“During these times people need to be extra careful and drive according to the conditions,” he said. “Conditions can change at any time so you need to be aware of what is going on around you.”

Redevelopment of Horsham Town Hall is on hold for at least two weeks despite Horsham Rural City Council giving the project the green light.
Heated debate, between councillors and at times a packed gallery at a meeting on Monday night, looked set to end when a 5-2 vote approved a planning permit for the $15-million project.
But Cr David Grimble threw the project and the meeting into turmoil when he  pushed forward with a rescission motion to overturn the decision.

But Mr Cooper, who farms 4000 hectares with his brother Greg, said he expected to salvage 85 to 90 percent of river fencing established two years ago, ironically, as part of a drought program.

                Horsham/Community - Water diversion plea</title>

The group appealed to Premier John Brumby to step in and direct authorities in charge of water-sharing arrangements to ‘seize the opportunity’ to combine flood mitigation with recreational development.
