The 10th annual Wimmera Against Cancer in Kids Car and Bike Show has proven to be a major drawcard, with more than $6000 raised to assist families of children with cancer. Event organiser Brendan McKinnon said the change of venue was the main reason for such a success, with Horsham’s May Park providing the ideal backdrop for the display. “With the event being more centrally located it was much easier for people to access and stumble across,” he said. “We were delighted with the crowd numbers and cars on display. All around, the day was a big success.” McKinnon said there were 120 cars were on display, with an estimated value of more than $2-million.
