Emma Gellatly– HDFNL

Emma is a valued Rupanyup member who started her netball career with the club in 2022. She co-captained and led her team to the 15-and-under premiership in 2024. This season Emma is co-captain of the 17-and-unders, plays B Grade and also made her A Grade debut in the Anzac Day clash against Laharum. Emma is a diligent defender and reads the play with ease. She shows great sportsmanship and gives 100 per cent while valuing and encouraging her team-mates. Emma is also an excellent umpire, receiving her C Grade badge last year. Les Power presented her award.

Sid Kingston – HDFNL

Rupanyup footballer Sid, pictured with Blue Ribbon Foundation co-ordinator Les Power, is described as an asset to his club. He is a ‘gentle giant’ who goes hard at the football and is strong in a marking contest. His discipline, kindness and respectful nature are valued, and he is a wonderful example to everyone at the club, particularly the little tackers – not just how to be a good player and club person, but a good person in general. Sid plays junior and senior football and is poised for a wonderful year.

Jye Buncle – WFNL

Ararat footballer Jye, pictured with mum Kim, is polite and puts the needs of others before himself, which shows in both life and in football. He continues to listen to his coaches and as a result continues to improve his football skills. He plays a fair brand of football and respects the umpires, team-mates and opposition players during the game. He is always willing to help out around the club in any way that he can, whether that is running water, doing boundary or helping out the senior grades of football.

Nevani Woods – WFNL

Ararat netballer Nevani, pictured with her coach Rebecca Skrabl, is hugely respected among her team-mates. She is an incredibly conscientious player who always puts in 100 per cent and supports her team-mates on and off the court. Nevani is the first to volunteer to assist with scoring, timing, cleaning up or helping to mentor junior players. She is a quiet force of nature who always respects her opponent, and always shows up with a positive attitude. She is a joy to coach and play with in her final season of under-17’s and leaves behind a strong legacy for the younger players to follow.

Angus Crute – HDFNL

Laharum footballer Angus, pictured with Blue Ribbon Foundation co-ordinator Les Power, started playing in the Auskick program at age six and played his first game of under-14s in 2023. He is the under-14s captain this year and has also started playing under-17s. He said he loves football and is enjoying both his leadership role in under-14s as well as the challenge of playing under-17s.

Maya Przibilla – HDFNL

Laharum’s Maya values netball for the friendships she has formed, starting in 2018 in the Net Set Go program. Maya made her official debut in the 13-and-under team in 2021, and won her first best-and-fairest award at the age of 11. She has progressed through the junior ranks, winning another three club best-and-fairest awards, captaining the 2025 15-and-under premiership team, finishing runner-up in last year’s league best-and-fairest count, and has played in multiple interleague and association teams. Blue Ribbon Foundation co-ordinator Les Power presents Maya her award.
