Horsham Rural City Council have removed two of every three bollards along Natimuk Road bicycle lane as an interim measure.
A range of options will be considered as part of the ongoing work, developed in conjunction with resident representatives.
Council officers plan to meet with the group in coming weeks to progress the discussion.
The Natimuk Road bicycle lane extension between Bennett Road and Hillary Street was delivered to improve active transport connectivity and safety.
