Blue Ribbon Foundation’s Horsham branch has almost reached its latest fundraising goal.
The foundation hosted an annual gala event in March, raising $30,000 towards its current project of raising $40,000 for a rapid infuser for Wimmera Base Hospital’s emergency department.
It added more than $3000 to the kitty after hosting Inside Story, formerly known as Crime Night – a rare, behind-the-scenes insight into policing with guest speakers Detective Inspector Tim Cron and Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Trewavas – last month.
Its most recent donations include a resuscitation cot to the Yandilla ward, worth $35,000; a fluid warmer to the emergency department, worth $2000; and an ECG monitor for the Wyuna COVID teams, worth $6000.
