“The comments from the community have been extremely positive.”
Mr Dandy said the variety in performances was significant and probably could not have been achieved at a live event.
“We even had a performance from a beautiful church in Denmark,” he said.
He said the committee understood that having a live event was best-case scenario.
“However, we have made the best of the situation and would like to thank the community for supporting the concept and showing appreciation to the performers,” he said.
“The committee would like to thank everyone involved with bringing the event together, including all our sponsors, donors and supporters.”
Mr Dandy encouraged people to tune in to ACE Radio stations MIXX FM at 7am and 3WM at noon on Saturday for a full run-through of the carols performances.
“We wish you all a very Merry Christmas, best wishes for a better 2022 and we will see you at the soundshell in 2022,” he said.
