Hindmarsh and Buloke are among eight Victorian regional municipalities yet to officially record COVID-19 cases.

The others are Pyrenees, Golden Plains, Colac Otway, Alpine, Towong and Indigo.

The number of cases in Ararat, one, Horsham, two, Northern Grampians, three, Yarriambiack, one, and West Wimmera, one, remain unchanged since yesterday.

The total number of cases in the state is 1085, of which 866 have been in Melbourne and 205 in regional Victoria. Several cases remain under investigation.
