Dr Felix starts at Horsham clinic

A new GP at Grampians Health’s Read Street Medical Clinic has enabled it to open its doors to new patients in its Alan Wolff Medical Centre practice.

Felix Ogbo, who is not new to Grampians Health, has been working shifts in the Horsham emergency department since moving to the region.

Dr Felix said he was excited about establishing a patient list at the bulk-billing clinic.

“I will be working Mondays to Thursdays on a fortnightly rotation so I can maintain my work in the emergency department,” he said.

Grampians Health chief operations officer Ben Kelly said recruiting Dr Felix to Read Street was a great boon for the clinic. “Dr Felix has already been making an impact with his scrupulous work in the emergency department at Horsham,” he said.

“He will make a big difference to waiting lists at our medical clinic. It’s a big win for the region and for Grampians Health, providing greater access to local services.”

Dr Felix has previously worked in South Australia at Berri, and Stawell, and now lives with his family in Horsham.

He will be available from July 13. People can make an appointment to see Dr Felix by phoning 5381 9090.
