Gillian shares street library

For all the bibliophiles out there, now is the opportune time to brew up a cup of tea and curl up with a good book.

“People can take a book and if they want to leave a book, that’s fine – read the book, share the book and if you have some you want to pop in our library, please do,” she said.

“We now have some children’s books as well, but we probably want some books for school-aged children – and for teenagers.

“Anyone can get a book – if you’re concerned about hygiene, wash your hands with soap. You can always spray the covers of the books if you’re concerned.

“Just practice the recommended rules.”
