McDonalds fuel promotion kicks off

McDonald’s in Horsham, Stawell and Ararat are among 60 restaurants across regional Victoria to offer fuel vouchers to customers over the next month.

The Friday Fuel Up competition will offer $100,000 worth of fuel vouchers to help alleviate the high price of fuel in regional communities.

The competition kicked off on Friday and will run until June 19, giving people a chance to win an instant $50 fuel voucher when they purchase any menu item, excluding Happy Meals.

Customers need to order from the front counter or drive-thru between 7am and 7pm on a Friday to win one of eight $50 fuel vouchers available on the day.

McDonald’s Australia regional director for Victoria Alex Carapetis said McDonald’s had been part of Victorian communities for decades, and its restaurants were proud to be a major employer and contributor to local economies across the state.

“Friday Fuel Up reflects that commitment – working alongside our licensees to find practical ways we can support our customers and communities, particularly at a time when cost-of-living pressures are being felt,” he said.

“Whether it’s providing jobs, supporting local community groups, or giving back through initiatives like this, we’re focused on playing a positive role in the communities we serve.”
