NEW ADDITION: Emma Clark enjoys a drive in one of Dimboola Riverside Holiday Park’s new pedal carts, which are available for guests to hire.

New addition ‘sure to be popular’ at Dimboola

Dimboola’s Riverside Holiday Park has added four new pedal-carts to strengthen its attraction as a family-friendly destination.

People staying at the park can hire two four-seat carts and two single-seat carts.

The pedal-carts are specifically designed for commercial hire with robust construction, durable puncture resistant off-road tyres and added safety features such as seatbelts for front seats designed for smaller children. People can bring their own helmets or they can be hired at no extra cost.

Hindmarsh Shire mayor Ron Ismay said the pedal-carts were the newest addition to the park following cabins installed last year.

“It has been really exciting to have received the pedal-carts, and they tie in beautifully with the recently opened skate park nearby,” he said.

“The pedal-carts are rugged and perfect for riding around the grounds of the Riverside Holiday Park, and are sure to be a hit with families staying there.

“With the beautiful Wimmera River setting, well maintained grass sites, family and all-ability-access cabins, camp kitchen and recreation room, and now pedal-carts, Riverside Holiday Park is continuing its popularity as the perfect place for people to base themselves whist exploring the region.”
