Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation Horsham branch leaders are thrilled with ‘already overwhelming support’ for next year’s black-tie gala ball.
The ball, in Horsham Town Hall on March 26, will celebrate 15 years of the Horsham branch.
Branch secretary Kelly Schilling said the event would cater for 240 guests and tickets were almost sold-out.
“We’ve had wonderful support from our long-term sponsors and guests, who have already been busy booking tables,” she said.

“We are celebrating 15 years of operation and the night promises to be another memorable one.”
Ms Schilling said the event would include a pre-dinner entertainment option, with guests able to sign up for a ride in a classic car thanks to Wimmera Mallee Historical Vehicle Society.
“Other elements of the gala will include a guest speaker, auction and live entertainment,” she said.
“It’s always such a popular event and we are grateful to welcome back our partners in major sponsor ACE Radio along with gold sponsors Skillinvest and Elders, entertainment sponsor Harvey Norman Horsham and silver sponsors Wade’s, Morrow Motor Group and Horsham Toyota.”
Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation perpetuates the memory of members of the force who have died in the line of duty, by supporting community projects throughout the state.
The Horsham branch raises money to support Wimmera Health Care Group projects, often in honour of fallen officers.
“We are currently fundraising for an ECG unit for the COVID ward at Wimmera Base Hospital,” Ms Schilling said.
“All proceeds from the night will be going toward this goal and upcoming Wimmera Health Care Group projects.”
People can email Ms Schilling at email@example.com to inquire about remaining tickets for the gala ball.
