COLOURS OF THE WIMMERA: Show season is in full swing across the region with agricultural societies, groups and volunteers busy promoting their cities, towns, districts and communities through annual agricultural shows.

Shows continue at Nhill tomorrow, Dimboola on Saturday and Jeparit on Sunday, with more scheduled for October and November.

A major splash of colour at Warracknabeal Showground was a highlight during Warracknabeal’s annual show last week.

Warracknabeal Agricultural and Pastoral Society secretary Judi Armstrong is pictured at the society’s eye-catching pavilion display of paper flowers.
