Pitcha Makin Fellas to host workshops at Natimuk

The Pitcha Makin Fellas, a First Nations art group, will run workshops at Natimuk Primary School this weekend.

Trudy Edgeley, Adrian Rigney, Ted Laxton and Thomas Marks will use inspiration from Horsham ecologist and authour Steffen Schultz’s book Gariwerd Colours – Plants of the Grampians.

Artists will learn about stamp making and print techniques and will use a fridge as a canvas. The finished pieces will feature at next year’s Nati Frinj Biennale.

Saturday’s workshops are from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. A Sunday session will start at 10am. Workshops are free but numbers are limited. People can book online at trybooking.com/BVZNP.
