Surprise Baby to make surprise appearance at Horsham Cup

Wimmera racing fans will get an opportunity to watch Melbourne Cup hot tip ‘Surprise Baby’ in action at Sunday’s Millers Horsham Cup.

Horsham trainer Paul Preusker has confirmed he would put the five-year-old gelding on track for an exhibition run during the meeting.

Surprise Baby became one of the favourites for the $8-million Melbourne Cup with a dominant performance in The Bart Cummings race over 2500 metres earlier this month.

Punters will be able to see the gallop before the running of the Horsham Cup.
