Max Murray – WFNL
Horsham Saints footballer Max Murray, pictured with Horsham Senior Constable Lauren Barton and Constable Clayton Brown, has played footy at Horsham Saints since his first year in Auskick, becoming an integral part of the under-17 team. His courage and tenacity at the ball can never be questioned, and his willingness to back-up and play reserves footy – and play well – is a credit to him and his commitment to being the best footballer he can be. Max will never shirk a club task, whether it be running boundary or a canteen shift, and is a popular member of his club among his peers.

Jeremy Williamson – WFNL
Warrack Eagles footballer Jeremy Williamson, pictured with Warracknabeal Senior Constable Lauren Cole, is a tall, solid ruckman who works hard all around the ground. He is a great off-field leader and has also displayed wonderful versatility, playing up forward and down back when required. He has shown great sportsmanship throughout the year.

Harrison Daniell – HDFNL
Noradjuha-Quantong footballer Harrison Daniell, pictured with Horsham police officer Sam Foster, is an outstanding young man who is highly respected by his team-mates and club officials. He puts in grand efforts at training and around the club – on the ground he is captain and leads by example for his team-mates. Harry plays the game hard, but always fair.

Addison Lardner – WFNL
Ararat netballer Addison Lardner is an involved member of the club, and is very versatile. She generally plays in defence. Her skills and ability to intercept the ball make her a valuable member of the team. She leads by example, advocates for her team and fosters a positive and respectful playing experience. James Flemming – WFNL
Stawell footballer James Fleming is a strong running footballer with great endurance and tenacity. He has been a leader on the field for the Warriors’ under-17 team and has also displayed wonderful sportsmanship throughout the year. Ivy McLaren – HDFNL
Kaniva-Leeor United netballer Ivy McLaren, pictured with Kaniva Police Constable Liv Bedggood and club president Tyson Vivian, competes to her utmost week in, week out. She gives her best for the team and the club, and shows total respect for team-mates, coaches, opposition players and umpires, on and off the court.

Madison Heller – WFNL
Warrack Eagles netballer Madison Heller has played most of her junior games in the mid-court, but this year she’s been thrown into goal defence. She works well with her team-mates and takes on direction from her coaches and senior players. She is pictured with Warracknabeal Senior Constable Laren Cole

August Koch – HDFNL
Laharum footballer August Koch, pictured with Blue Ribbon co-ordinator Les Power, is a most selfless player. He is an absolute pleasure to coach and is always looking to improve his game where possible. He relishes different roles when they are presented to him. Recently, he has been asked to play in the higher grades of football due to number shortages and certainly has not looked out of place. Off the field, he is always willing to volunteer when asked to, a credit to him and his family. August certainly is a well-loved member of his club.

Ashleigh Sudholz – HDFNL
Rupanyup netballer Ashleigh Sudholz, pictured with Blue Ribbon Foundation’s Les Power, truly embodies the spirit of netball. Ashleigh plays the game with a smile on her face, a positive attitude, and a love for being out on the court. She’s happy to be thrown into any position, giving her all no matter where she plays. Her enjoyment of the game, willingness to adapt, and commitment to her team make her a shining example of what netball and the Blue Ribbon Award is all about.

Abbey Williams – HDFNL
Kalkee netballer Abbey Williams said she started her netball career in 2016 in the NetSet Go program. “I feel very honoured to receive such an award today,” she said. “I have loved playing netball with my friends and for my club. Throughout this time I have been fortunate enough to play in five grand-finals, of which we won three. During my time at Kalkee I have been so lucky to be supported by the best people who have helped me become the netballer I am today. I could not have asked for better role models or team-mates.”

Abbey Williams – HDFNL

Pimpinio netballer Stella Williams, pictured with Blue Ribbon Foundation co-ordinator Les Power, embodies the club’s values and the Spirit of Netball in her efforts, sportsmanship and respect.

Thomas Hotker – WFNL
Minyip-Murtoa footballer Thomas Hotker, pictured with Horsham police officer and Minyip-Murtoa stalwart Angie Clark, brings relentless effort and determination to every game, always striving to improve and support his team-mates. He gives 100 per cent effort on game day and is respectful of all team-mates, opposition and umpires. Off the field, Tom leads by example with a positive attitude and a willingness to help around the club. He is a highly respected and valued member of the Minyip-Murtoa club.

Roxana Monaghan-Angelats – WFNL
Stawell netballer Roxana Monaghan-Angelats’s bubbly nature is the heart and soul of the Warriors’ 17s team. She is determined, respectful, eager and loves a challenge. Her polite and positive attitude towards officials, team-mates and her opponents is one that is looked upon for all the right reasons. Roxy is always up for a challenge and will always give 110 per cent. This is Roxy’s first year of 17s and she continues to give it nothing but her all every week. Brydon McPhee – HDFNL
Pimpinio footballer Brydon McPhee has spent his whole football life at Pimpinio, right through from Auskick to being a triple premiership player with the under 17s. While he is well known for loving kicking goals, he has proven his versatility this year by slotting into other positions around the ground when required – acknowledging that the young team he leads need his leadership up the ground. Brydon has always taken his turn to volunteer, whether it be running water or doing the boundary. Brydon is pictured with Blue Ribbon Foundation’s Les Power.

Thomas Penny – HDFNL
Harrow-Balmoral footballer Thomas Penny is a young footballer with wonderful sportsmanship qualities. He is always looking to support his team-mates and improve his teams performance by leading from the front. He has a natural ability with the ball and his leadership among the playing group never falters, win or lose. Thomas loves playing with his mates and being involved with everyone around the club. Heidi Robinson – HDFNL
Harrow-Balmoral netballer Heidi Robinson is a joy to watch on the netball court with her commitment, skill and determination. The thing that makes her the netballer she is, is her sportsmanship and encouragement she offers to her team-mates. Heidi has played a lot of netball this year especially, and is reaping the benefits with her fitness, skill level and leadership that shows week in and week out. Playing in nearly all club netball teams except for three, shows she goes above and beyond for the club willing to help out where she can. Marli Arnold – WFNL
Minyip-Murtoa netballer Marli Arnold, pictured with Horsham police officer and Minyip-Murtoa club member Angie Clark, is a very involved junior member. She has shown ongoing commitment to the club, coaching and mentoring the NetSet Go participants while playing in the 17-and-under team. Marli is a versatile player, generally playing in defence. Her skills and ability to intercept the ball make her a valuable member of the team. Marli’s passion for the game and sportsmanship has seen her being selected in the A Grade side, making her debut alongside her mum in recent weeks. Marli was nominated vice-captain by her team-mates. She leads by example, advocates for her team and fosters a positive and respectful playing experience.

Levi Linto – HDFNL
Edenhope-Apsley footballer Levi Linto, pictured with Harrow Leading Senior Constable Alan Perry, displays wonderful sportsmanship. He is always looking to support his team-mates and improve his teams performance by leading from the front. He has a natural ability with the ball and his leadership amongst the playing group never falters, win or lose. Levi is gracious in defeat and the first to congratulate the opposition on their performance after a win.

Jasmine McIntyre – HDFNL
Edenhope-Apsley netballer Jasmine McIntyre, pictured with Harrow Leading Senior Constable Alan Perry, is an outstanding young player and sportswoman. Along with her incredible talent as a player, Jaz has a natural ability as a leader. She brings support, joy and encouragement to the court and leads by example in her efforts, always. Her team-mates look to her for guidance and seek her feedback as the respected captain of her team. Jasmine is also part of the A Grade team and knows the hard work it takes achieve the success she has had.

Stawell Warriors footballer Jett Manns is a passionate and infectious leader of the Stawell Warriors under-17 football team. He always brings energy to training and game day that helps bring everyone else up. Jett goes out of his way to interact with others at the club – both in the juniors and the seniors, which is important in building a good culture. This has proven beneficial in Jett’s improvement in his football as he seeks advice, and more importantly, takes it on board to improve himself. Jett is pictured with Stawell Sergeant Baker.

Emily Grant – HDFNL
Swifts netballer Emily Grant, pictured with Stawell Constable Sean Brown, is always ready to assist and support others. On the court, she is known for her positive attitude and is always respectful toward team-mates, opponents and umpires. Emily has stepped up to help B Grade this season and her netball just continues to grow.

Lenny Weir – WFNL
Southern Mallee Thunder footballer Lenny Weir, pictured with Warracknabeal Leading Senior Constable Peter Taylor, is a hardworking and highly respected member of Thunder’s junior football program. Lenny is known for his strong commitment to developing as a player. He trains with intent, plays with skill, and thrives on the competitive nature of the game. Equally at home in a number of positions, his versatility and work ethic have made him an asset on field and a favourite among team-mates. It is Lenny’s attitude off the field that sets him apart; he is just as comfortable chatting with senior players and supporters as he is in the junior rooms – always friendly, always engaged, and always a proud representative of the club.

Elsa Byron – WFNL
Southern Mallee Thunder netballer Elsa Byron is a key member of the Southern Mallee Thunder 17-under netball side, and brings an infectious enthusiasm and energy to every game and training session. She lifts those around her with her bubbly personality, and has unwavering support for her team-mates. Elsa is always the first to volunteer for any role or position asked of her, and she approaches every challenge with a smile and 110 per cent effort. Her willingness to adapt, her respect for the game, and her commitment to her team make her an absolute joy to coach and a role model for her peers. Luke Hunter – WFNL
Dimboola footballer Luke Hunter, pictured with Horsham Blue Ribbon Foundation co-ordinator Les Power, is a fierce competitor who is rarely beaten. True to his character, Luke is the first to pick up any player who may be on the deck, whether that be an opposition player or one of his own team-mates. As voted by his peers, Luke is the vice-captain of the under-17s team and demonstrates exceptionally strong leadership qualities. Luke is also a part of the club’s reserves team, playing in the backline and never looking out of place.

Indy Webb – HDFNL
Rupanyup netballer Indy Webb, pictured with Murtoa Police Sergeant Brendan Khan, is a talented netballer known for her smart play and strong court awareness. She consistently gives her best on and off the court and supports her team-mates during games and training. Indy plays with fairness and integrity, always showing respect to umpires and opponents. Her reliable ball skills and clear communication make her a key part of the team. Indy embodies the spirit of netball through her teamwork, dedication and a positive attitude.

Hugh Weidermann – HDFNL
Rupanyup footballer Hugh Weidermann has now been recognised with a total of three spirit of football awards in three years. The hard work, consistency and attitude he displays week-in and week-out would be considered impressive in a top-level senior player, let alone a 15-year-old. Hugh is pictured with Murtoa Police Sergeant Brenda Khan.

Emily Taylor – WFNL
Dimboola netballer Emily Taylor is a weapon on the court. From ring to ring, she can play anywhere. Her agility and speed are highly valued by the team. Making her mark in the 17-and-under team as captain, her teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership shines. Emily has also been a valued player in the Roos’ B Grade team for the past couple of seasons, where she combines her playing duties with joint coaching of the 13-and-unders this season.

Charlotte Donnell – WFNL
Nhill netballer Charlotte Donnell, pictured with Acting Sergeant Richard McGlade, is a committed and dedicated player who attends all trainings, both junior and senior. Charlotte leads by example through being a strong voice of encouragement and guidance both on and off the court, and is a role model to the juniors through her nurturing approach as co-coach to the modified netballers. Charlotte is not one to shy away from responsibility and is quick to put her hand up to help out where she is needed.

Chloe Hateley – HDFNL
Natimuk United’s Chloe Hateley is a versatile and committed young netballer who brings flexibility and strong teamwork to every game. Known for her ability to play confidently in any position on the court, Chloe consistently adapts to the needs of her team, making her a valuable asset. Her willingness to step into any role demonstrates not only her skill but also her selfless approach to the sport. This year, Chloe is also training with the A/B Grade squad and has played many B Grade games. Chloe also contributes to the club by umpiring. Josh Price – HDFNL
Noradjuha-Quantong footballer Josh Price, pictured with Horsham Police Acting Sergeant Rob Martin, continues a long Price family involvement with the club. Josh has worked his way through the junior levels and is now an integral part of the under-17s team program. He is a leader among his peers and displays a ‘team first’ approach on and off the field. Playing hard but fair on game day proves this award is well deserved.

Horsham Demons footballer Zavier Purdue, pictured with Horsham Blue Ribbon Foundation co-ordinator Les Power, brings relentless effort and determination to every game, always striving to improve and support his team-mates. His growth as a player has seen him take on key roles across the ground with confidence and composure. Off the field, Zavier leads by example with a positive attitude and a willingness to help around the club. He is a highly respected and valued member of the Horsham Football club community.

Xavier Stimson – HDFNL
Kaniva-Leeor United footballer Xavier Stimson leads by example and is very fair in his attack on the ball. Xavier, originally a hockey player, started playing football in 2022 as a top-age under-14. He has been captain of the under-17 team for the past two seasons, winning the best and fairest last year after a season-ending collarbone injury. This season Xavier has co-captained the Saint Cougar under-17 team and made his senior debut in the ANZAC Day clash against Edenhope. Seth Keam – WFNL
Warrack Eagles footballer Seth Keam is a strong running defender with great endurance. He has been a leader on the field for the Eagles under-17s team this season as captain. Seth has displayed wonderful sportsmanship throughout the year, making him a worthy recipient. Warracknabeal Leading Senior Constable Peter Taylor presented Seth’s award.

Lucy Holland – WFNL
Warrack Eagles netballer Lucy Holland, pictured with Warracknabeal Leading Senior Constable Peter Taylor, is a strong mid-court player with great fitness. She has been a leader on the field for the Eagles under-17s team this season and is joint captain. Lucy has also played senior netball in B Grade this year, where her versatility has been used in the mid-court as well as under the ring as a consistent scoring option. Lucy shows excellent sportsmanship both on and off the court.

Deegan Blake – HDFNL
Swifts footballer Deegan Blake is an exceptional member of his club. He is always ready to lend a hand where needed. On the field Deegan is known for his respectful demeanour towards his team-mates, opponents, and umpires. His cheerful outlook and enthusiasm for the game is infectious and he consistently encourages others to enjoy the game as much as he does. He is pictured with Stawell Constable Chun Ngan.

Sophie Birch – WFNL
Stawell Warriors netballer Sophie Birch was awarded for giving 110 per cent in everything she does, at training and on match day. Sophie displays strong leadership skills and rallies around her team-mates. She takes on all advice given to her, and is determined to not only better herself, but her team-mates. Sophie treats everyone with respect no matter if they are a player, official or supporter, and is a great example of playing hard, competitive but fair netball.

Link Smith – HDFNL
Pimpinio footballer Link Smith, pictured with Blue Ribbon Foundation’s Les Power, and his family are currently in their third year at Pimpinio. Despite only being a short period of time, Link has firmly established himself as a true leader of the junior group. He is the perfect definition of the Blue Ribbon Award. He always shows respect to all officials, both club, umpires, opposition and teammates. He is currently part of the leadership of the under-17 team and also the Horsham and District football league interleague captain. Link is an exceptionally skilled and fair player and has played a large part of the last two premierships that the Tigers have won.

Scarlett Abbott – HDFNL
Kalkee netballer Scarlett Abbott began her netball journey in 13-and-under at the age of 12. She currently plays 17-and-under and B Grade as a junior development player. Scarlett loves everything about sport, but plays ultimately to be surrounded by her team-mates, whom she adores. Her inner spirit is fuelled by perseverance, fairness, strength, fitness and knowing she is part of a great community. Scarlett is known to help when needed, supports the younger kids and always wears a ready smile.

Karla Hallam – WFNL
Horsham Demons netballer Karla Hallam, who is still eligible to play in the 15-and-under team, has stepped up to play in the 17-and-under competition. Karla has an amazing awareness of the game and is a versatile player who relishes the opportunity and gets the job done. The way Karla goes about her netball is inspirational. She is respected by all her peers and is a fantastic role model for junior netballers.

Christian Wait – WFNL
Horsham Demons footballer Christian Wait, pictured with Blue Ribbon Foundation’s Les Power, consistently demonstrates enthusiasm and determination in his efforts to enhance his performance on the field. He has developed into a versatile player capable of performing at either end of the ground. Off the field, Christian is always eager to volunteer and exhibits a positive attitude.

Max Roberts – WFNL
Southern Mallee Thunder footballer Max Roberts was awarded for his integrity,
compassion, and love of the game that goes far beyond statistics and scoreboard
pressure. A quiet achiever with a deep
passion for the game, Max is respected by his teammates and opposition players. He has natural speed and an impressive vertical leap, is humble, fair and grounded. Versatile and dependable, Max slots into any position across the ground.

Dylan Seymour – HDFNL
Kalkee footballer Dylan Seymour, pictured receiving his award from Horsham police officer Dave Richardson, shows fantastic attitude both on and off the field and is always offering to help with whatever is needed. Dylan always has a smile on his face and will always put 100 per cent into everything that he does on and off the field.

Clive Dunstan – HDFNL
Harrow-Balmoral footballer Clive Dunstan, pictured with Horsham police’s Tim Crick, is delighted to have returned to the club this season. The under-17s vice-captain previously played for Lexton, Lake Wendouree, and Beaufort. He relies on the club’s bus from Hamilton to attend training every Thursday, and he particularly enjoys the chats with the friendly club members who volunteer to drive the return journey.

Mia Rees – HDFNL
Harrow-Balmoral netballer Mia Rees’ enthusiasm for netball began when she started playing with the club in the Moddies. Her dedication and love for the sport are evident in her commitment to every aspect of the game – whether it’s training sessions, game days, or taking every opportunity to improve her skills. Mia proudly represents the Horsham and District interleague team and enjoys playing alongside her 17-and-under team, as well as being part of the A Grade squad. Angus Slatter – WFNL
Horsham Saints footballer Angus Slatter has played with the Saints since Auskick and is highly regarded as one of the leaders of the under-17 team. His willingness to help around the club is an example for his team-mates, be it running the boundary for the senior grades or any other jobs that pop up, he is always among the first to put his hand up to help out. Cara Tippet – WFNL
Horsham Saints netballer Cara Tippet, pictured with Blue Ribbon Foundation co-ordinator Les Power, is a highly-talented player through the midcourt. She has a steely determination and is capable of always making the contest. Cara is not only an outstanding junior player but she is also a very valuable player in the B Grade team.

Charlie Arnott – HDFNL
Laharum netballer Charlie Arnott has been on the netball court before she could walk, following her mother’s netball games. Charlie started netball in the Net Set Go team, progressing through 13-and-under, 15-and-under to now be a bottom-age 17-and-under. Charlie plays in the goals and midcourt, always striving to play her best, and practices to improve her skills. Charlie has played some senior games, made special by playing alongside her mum Shannon and cousin Imogen. Charlie is pictured with Horsham Blue Ribbon Foundation member Les Power.

Jules Lockwood – HDFNL
Swifts footballer Jules Lockwood, a shy but exceptionally skilled footballer, consistently lets his actions do the talking. Whether playing across half-back with speed and smarts or stepping into the midfield with agility and purpose, he’s a reliable and versatile team player. Jules is hardworking, unassuming and always ready to get on with the job. He never complains, no matter the position or the drill, and leads by example both on and off the field. As a role model to his team-mates and his two younger brothers, who he shares the field with, Jules shows maturity, leadership, and a work ethic beyond his years. Amara Jagan – HDFNL
Swifts netballer Amara Jagan, who has played all her junior netball with the club, is recognised for her fierce determination and love for the game. A truly versatile player, Amara excels in any position she takes on, always bringing energy, skill, and commitment to the court.

Maya Schorback – WFNL
Dimboola netballer Maya Schorback, with Rainbow Leading Senior Constable Anthony Clark, predominantly plays at goal shooter or goal attack. However, she can also be called upon in defence where her height and strong rebounding are utilised. Maya has also been a regular feature in the B Grade teams during the past couple of seasons, ably stepping up against players often twice her age.

Claudia Breuer – HDFNL
Taylors Lake netballer Claudia Breuer, pictured with Horsham Blue Ribbon member Les Power, earned the award for her fairness and sportsmanship. Claudia began her netball career in the 15-and-unders, playing for Noradjuha-Quantong for three years before joining Taylors Lake for her final year in juniors. Originally a mid-court player, Claudia now thrives in defence but remains a versatile asset on the court. In addition to playing, she also umpires and is working towards earning her badge this year.

Blake Hadden – HDFNL
Noradjuha-Quantong footballer Blake Hadden, pictured with Les Power, was recognised for his hard work and dedication to the team across a number of years. A top-age player, Blake leads by example and is a fantastic role model for the younger players in the team.

Jake Ellis – HDFNL
Noradjuha-Quantong footballer Jake Ellis has stepped up from under-14s last year, progressing to be an integral member of the under-17s. He is polite, well-respected by his teammates, and plays hard but fair. Jake is pictured with Horsham Blue Ribbon Foundation co-ordinator Les Power.

Lili Wilson – WFNL
Minyip-Murtoa netballer Lili Wilson, pictured with Angie Clarke, has demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and leadership both on and off the court. She has shown an ongoing commitment her club, coaching a junior side while playing competitive netball across both junior and senior competitions. Lili steps on the court each week with a positive attitude and treats her team-mates, opponents and officials with respect.

Finn Delahunty – WFNL
Minyip-Murtoa footballer Finn Delahunty embodies the values the spirit of football award represents, both on and off the field. His enthusiasm and dedication to developing his game has been evident all season, and his hard work is translating into strong on-field performances. Finn is a quick and versatile utility known for his smart decision making around the contest. He is pictured with Horsham police officer and Minyip-Murtoa member Angie Clarke.

Samuel Harrington – WFNL
Ararat footballer Samuel Harrington, pictured with Ararat Senior Sergeant Liam McMahon, is a versatile team player. He listens to his coach and as a result continues to improve his football skills. He always plays a fair brand of football and in doing so shows respect to his team-mates, the opposing team and umpires during the game.

Bridie Price – WFNL
Ararat netballer Bridie Price is a joy to coach. She is eager to learn and is supportive of her team-mates. As a defender, she uses her height, great read of the play, and incredible reach to pick off many intercepts, but her sportsmanship is where she truly shines.

Lucy Baker – HDFNL
HDFNL Pimpinio netballer Lucy Baker epitomises the spirit of netball award in her natural leadership on court and her sportsmanship. She is a dedicated netballer who has been a key part of premiership teams throughout her junior career. She is pictured with Horsham Blue Ribbon member Les Power.

Carter Monaghan – HDFNL
Taylors Lake footballer Carter Monaghan, pictured with Lakers footballer and Horsham Police Acting Sergeant Marc Davey, began his football career with AusKick at Taylors Lake. He is a utility on the field and will play in any position the coach asks of him. He always gives it his all and always respects opponents, officials, and teammates.
